Three things are made clear in this passage:
- Christ died for our sins.
- He was buried.
- He was raised from the dead on the third day.
Why is the resurrection of Jesus Christ so important?
“And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.”

Two options:
- A resurrection of judgement
- A resurrection of eternal life
